Melt Away Stress And Tension With The ShoulderFlex Massager

by Chris Channing

The Shoulderflex Massager is a comfortable and innovative way to massage the shoulders and relax. This massage is different from other gadgets, because it places importance on your comfort.

The soft material of the massager is a light gray and a bit bigger than the average shoulder size. It weighs around 8 pounds and is easy to carry with you on vacation or anywhere else. This device is sturdy and will not slip around while you are using it. The ShoulderFlex Massager is also easy to use, thanks to the instructional dvd that it comes with.

Once you remove the massager from the packaging, you should watch the DVD. It will instruct you step by step on how to use the product and get the most from the device. It teaches you how to properly use each setting so that you can receive better targeted therapy. Even though regular massages can cost hundreds each month, this is one product that works similarly at a fraction of the price.

If you need deep tissue massages or just a gentle rub, the ShoulderFlex can do it. Cheap devices barely feel like a massage, but this one has ‘fingers’ that can loosen knots and melt away stress in the shoulder area. For many people the shoulders are the areas that receive the most pain and discomfort. The ShoulderFlex can melt away the pains associated with arthritis, stress, and repetitive motion syndrome.

The massager works best when lying down. You only need to place it on the floor and rest your shoulders on the product. Depending on the results you are looking for, you can set the device to work on deep tissue, gentle, or somewhere in between. The wide range of pulses it uses makes it a great universal product that can treat anything from workout soreness or arthritis.

Comparatively, the ShoulderFlex is more affordable. If you desperately need massage therapy, but can’t afford a masseuse, then this product is ideal. It contains several modes that range from deep tissue to a simple spa style massage. Massages at a spa or office can cost quite a bit, and require multiple sessions. The ShoulderFlex is a one time fee and lasts for years.

Closing Comments

This massager can relieve pain and boost your mood. It does everything that your body needs to feel rejuvenated and relaxed, and performs better than other comparable products.

by Rebecca Littleton

Did you know that massage has been performed for thousands of years? Many different techniques such as acupressure and reflexology have been practiced for thousands of years. The regular application of these and other techniques are very beneficial to your health. There are now a variety of different massage styles and techniques available to soothe and relieve different ailments.

In fact, it seems that massage was developed as a natural response to healing and recovery. Think how instinctive it is to rub a muscle when you bang up against something. Our natural reaction is to move it, flex it and help it reduce the immediate pain. Many techniques were developed simply for everyday use.

I really can’t think of a better way to relieve stress then get a soothing massage. The calmness, that tranquility and the relief is just wonderful. If stress starts to build, it can be released by getting a relaxing massage. It’s better to do this early rather than wait until you are overloaded.

Massage therapy starts with specific ways to relieve muscles and soft tissue areas. Specific movements are used in different areas to stretch, pull, of, penetrate and even elongate these muscles, joints and tendons. Regular applications of these movements which constitute massage are very beneficial in improving the elasticity of the muscle fibers.

There are many techniques that help us feel better. The application of pressure to penetrate through the muscle tissue may be painful initially, but it starts to relieve the stiffness in that muscle area. By applying different techniques, different areas of the body can be relieved.

Many people are challenged to get daily massage therapy. Daily massage therapy is important to really attain the benefits of massage. You cannot expect to exercise wants and have sustained benefits to your body. Massage is no different than exercise. It must be performed on a regular basis.

Getting frequent massage treatments is perhaps the biggest obstacle to getting regular massage. Most people do not have enough time to spend an hour every day at the spa getting a treatment. However, technology has provided an alternative solution, the massage chair.

Technology currently provides a practical alternative to a massage therapist. Massage chairs have advanced software programs which provide many popular massage treatments. It is common to find techniques such as acupressure, shiatsu, Swedish, Hawaiian, reflexology and many more. This gives you a wide variety of choices and options over the long term.

The most enduring feature of massage chairs is that they are convenient. In fact, it is a constant reminder asking you to sit down and get some relaxation and relief. What a great invitation to have every day when you walk past it. Reduce the symptoms of stress at the touch of a button.

The number of massage programs now number in the hundreds for massage chairs. There are hundreds and hundreds of variations in which to choose from. This gives you a variety of treatment options at your disposal. This is important to be able to address your long term health requirements.

The use of massage has been throughout all of time. We have a natural affinity for these movements and techniques to reduce pain, and improve flexibility. Relaxation is another byproduct of these treatments for your well-being. Get the most convenient and comfortable way to receive frequent massage therapy with a massage chair.

Receive the results of daily massage therapy with (http://www.massagechairwarehouse.com/) Massage Chairs. You find how convenient they are to get daily massage treatments. You can get a massage based on your busy schedule. No appointments, no tips and they never get tired. This is the best way to get the long term health benefits of massage therapy. Massage chairs let you decide your own treatment.

by Kenzo Tenma

Many different methods of massage exist, all of which have their own unique health benefits. One popular technique of Chinese origin is known as Accupressure. It involves stimulating the same points as Accupuncture, except with the hands instead of needles.

Anma is a traditional Japanese system that involves kneading for benefiting deep seated tissues. Ayurveda is an ancient Indian method. The massage, known as Abhayanga is usually performed by two masseurs using a heated combination of herbal oils on the basis of the system of humors.

Massages can be therapeutic because of how they affect the internal parts of the body. For example, Balinese treatment improves the flow of key bodily processes, such as oxygen and blood. The Balinese treatment is one of the many Eastern treatments now used all over the world.

The focus up to this point has been on Eastern medicine. However, there are a variety of Western techniques that can be as effective as those used in the East.

Being that Deep Tissue Massage helps relieve muscular tension, it has medical applications. Massage used in the medical field includes decongestive treatment used for lymphedema as well as breast cancer. It is also beneficial for stress, depression, regulating heart rate, blood pressure, improving sleep and aiding sleep and reducing lymph flow. It is also said to stimulate secretion of endorphins and serotonin, which are directly related to stress.

It is necessary to take advantage of many different massage techniques, rather than just one. By being massaged in different ways, you can receive the benefits of a number of methods.

Trigger Point Therapy involves deactivating trigger points that may cause local pain or other unpleasant sensations in other body parts and headaches. Manual pressure, vibration, injection, or other treatment is applied to these points to relieve myofascial pain.

The Swedish massage has been proven to be especially helpful in alleviating joint stiffness and reducing the pain from osteoarthritis. Within the Swedish massage system, there are five specific techniques used, all which involve continuous and strong motions.

There are many (http://massageservicesguide.com/2009/07/the-benefits-of-a-great-massage/) benefits of massages, which is why so many people get them.

How To Relieve Carpal Tunnel Symptoms

by Tom Nicholson

No matter who you are or what you do, you’ll find that having the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome strike is less than ideal! You might be forced to stop work, you might be in a great deal of pain and you might even find that your job is in danger. Remember that just experiencing the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome means that it is time to pay attention and to see what you can do.

Sometimes we don’t fully value what our hands do for us. They are the primary tools we use to accomplish anything, and we think they are practically expendable! We’ll sit in any position that seems comfortable, putting intense pressure on our wrists and fingers, pushing them to their limits and causing major stress to occur. If you continue with these habits though, the joke will be on you because the effects of carpal tunnel can be debilitating! Working intensely with your hands is something that needs to be monitored, and preventative care steps put into place to ensure you don’t develop carpal tunnel symptoms. Before discussing preventative measures, it is important to understand the nature of carpal tunnel symptoms.

At the most basic level, the pain and damage from carpal tunnel syndrome comes from the compression of the median nerve. The median nerve lies inside the transverse carpal ligament which wraps around the ligaments of your wrist and allows you to get strength and leverage over your arm and hand. It can compress the median nerve an this will only get worse when you are dealing with repetitive motion and poor posture. Take some time and make sure that you consider how you are affecting our body.

The symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome are annoying at best, debilitating at worse, and generally something needs to be done relatively quickly or the symptoms will grow. The symptoms include a weakness, numbness or coldness in the hands, wrists and fingers. This can radiate up the arm to the elbow as well. In some extreme cases, tingling in the fingers or even loss of functionality in the fingers and hands can occur. This can lead to additional problems such as back strain as you work to adjust your posture in favor of your pained hands.

When you are looking at surgery, you’ll find that it is possible with regards to carpal tunnel syndrome, but it is far from the best option. Surgery for this issue involves slicing the transvers carpal ligament. This can reduce the strength of your hand if healing becomes problematic and it does require physical therapy at the end of it.

When you are looking to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, you are going to wonder what your options are going to be. Remember that stretching your hands and shaking them out regularly can go a long way towards alleviating these symptoms. Good posture can help as well and when you are looking at the root cause of this issue, it is usually posture. Sit up straight when you are at work and look for hand and finger exercises.

Remember that surgery is not the only option that you have to deal with, and that there are choices that are much safer in the long run!

What are the causes of these carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms? Carpal tunnel is often the result of a combination of factors that increase pressure on the median nerve and tendons in the carpal tunnel, rather than a problem with the nerve itself. Visit (http://www.carpaltunnel-cure.com) carpal tunnel exercises for more info.

Find Out How You Can Benefit From Carpal Tunnel massage

by Tom Nicholson

People that suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome know all to well about the days of intense pain and suffering as well as the reduction in their activities due to the reduced of motor activity in their hands and fingers. Many people will seek medical help and be given both pain medications and a supportive wrist brace. In severe cases surgery may be recommended to relive the pressure and pain in the wrist and hand. Surgery can often be avoided by combining carpel tunnel exercises with carpal tunnel massage. This method of relief is effective and has fewer side effects than surgery.

Because carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by a compressed median nerve exercises that stretch and strengthen the shoulder, neck, back, and forearm muscles can help prevent the condition from developing in the first place. People that have jobs that require hand movements that are repetitive are advised to have regular massages so the nerves and muscles throughout the back, neck, and arms stay relaxed and any pressure that builds can be relieved. In addition massage, frequent breaks and the use of ergonomically designed equipment is recommended.

Carpal tunnel syndrome isn’t only caused by these repetitive motions. Conditions like a wrist injury, pregnancy, arthritis, obesity, and cigarette smoking can cause the median nerve to become compressed. The median nerve is critical to the operation of the thumb, the wrist, and the first three fingers on the hand. When the nerve compresses, the result can be debilitating. The pain is usually severe and a reduction in the use of the affected hand is common.

Once the condition has developed it is critical to begin a treatment plan as early as possible. This will prevent additional nerve damage and will relieve the pain associated with CTS. If left untreated the pain will likely begin to worsen with time. By massaging the area the carpal tunnel pain can be greatly reduced and the nerves functions may be restored.

By applying what a deep type of stroking massage, those who undergo pain from carpal tunnel syndrome can discover a safe method of pain relief. With stimulating blood circulation being one of the intentions of carpal tunnel massage, long strokes that last a few seconds each should be administered throughout the forearm downward to the wrist area. A pressure that should both hurt and feel good at the same time should be applied during the strokes.

In addition to massage techniques, carpal tunnel exercises intended to strengthen shoulder, neck, back and arm muscles should also be routinely performed. Through squeezing and resisting exercises, muscles are allowed to stretch while blood flow in those areas is increased. With daily carpal tunnel exercises and massages, in just a few weeks considerable pain reduction can be felt and with continued treatment, the median nerve can actually return to its original state.

As anyone who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome knows, the pain of this condition can be unbearable at times. While healing from it does require several interruptions during the day in order for the nerves and muscles to rest, as well as to administer massages and exercises, the relief from pain and the avoidance of complex medical procedures make carpal tunnel massage and exercises the best choice for recovering from carpal tunnel syndrome.

Wouldn’t you like to ease the pain caused by your carpal tunnel syndrome using simple exercises instead of resorting to invasive, costly methods? simple massage has been around for thousands of years and used around the world to keep the body healthy and maintain youthfulness. Learn about (http://www.carpaltunnel-cure.com) carpal tunnel exercises that can help you recover from CTS.
